Born in 1972, Tarık Demiryakan graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1994. During his studentship years, he started working as a Meteorologist at the General Directorate of State Airports Authority at Atatürk Airport between 1990 and 1995. Mr. Demiryakan, who undertook the Process/Power and Control Engineer position at P&G’s Gebze Factory in 1997, also served as the Operations and Logistics Manager of the same company. Between 2006 and 2009, he served as the Director of Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Production at 3M Turkey, where he was also a member of the Executive Board. Mr. Demiryakan, who later assumed the Supply Chain Director post at Yıldız Holding, managed several major organizational projects during this process. He joined Hayat Consumer Group in 2013 as the Global Supply Chain Director. Mr. Demiryakan, who was appointed as the Iran Pars Retail Managing Director in 2015 and Vice President for Iran Operations in 2020, still heads the Global Supply Chain and Global Procurement units in addition to this duty.
